Spring Break Sunburn? Check Out This Great Solution

sunworshipIt’s Spring Break where we are!  So, being from Houston, we headed to Galveston to visit some friends.  Out in the sun(beach) all day, for the first time this year… that can result in a sunburn.  The kids were prepared with 70 spf in the morning and replaced with 45 spf  a few more times.  Later in the evening, the red came out, and they were in pain.

It hurt me, just to look at it.  You could practically see the flames coming out of their sunburn.  Luckily, my friend had purchased Serious Skin Care Vitamin C Body Cream from Home Shopping Network.  Being the skeptic that I am on sunburn relief, I didn’t expect the results it provided.  This stuff is amazing and highly recommended!

That night she slathered on the lotion and in the morning the pain had subsided and the burn had healed.  When we asked how they felt, the response was “Fine!”.  So, we are headed back out to the beach, this time, with the rash guard shirts, lots of spf and Serious Skin Care Vitamin C Body Lotion for this evening.

I never tan (unless spray tan counts), always burn.  I prep myself with great sunscreen, cover up and limit my time.  Since I am the one that makes everyone look tan, I will purchase this by the case!  It was a lifesaver for our beach trip and great for the kids.

    Hi there …
I came across your blog when I googled sunburns (curious to see if anyone WAS getting sunburns this early in the year yet. ;-) I wanted to tell you about another solution to help the kids not get burned. I lost my 32-year-old husband to skin cancer and becasue of this I started UV Skinz. UV Skinz (www.uvskinz.com) manufactures UV swim shirts and UV clothing for the entire family. I know I may be biased but it’s great to be able to just throw a swim shirt on the kids and know they are protected for the day (and that I’m also limiting the chemicals on their skin from too much sun screen!) Anyhow, just stopping by. Enjoy the Spring sun!
